Plate-based cylinder metamaterial with negative Poisson’s ratio and outstanding mechanical performance

چکیده
Plate-based cellular materials exhibit greater stiffness and strength than conventional formed by struts. In this study, we designed fabricated a plate-based auxetic cylinder metamaterial using high-resolution projection micro-stereolithography three-dimensional printing technique. Experiment modeling results validated the behavior of cylinder. The normalized Young’s modulus yield four-layer are increased 141% 32%, respectively, compared with honeycomb. This study presents universal strategy for fabricating metamaterials appropriate mechanical performance various structural applications.
